TSI TEATRO A1
You are here: Home / Performing Arts / Kauffman Center Our work at the Kauffman Center. The Kauffman Center’s overriding vision is to enrich the lives of everyone in the community through extraordinary and diverse performing arts experiences. The Kauffman Center is home to resident organizations; the Kansas City Ballet, Lyric Opera, and Kansas City Symphony. Other innovative programming embraces a variety of audiences with different tastes, interests, and passions. What began as a sketch on a napkin has become an architectural icon and home for the performing arts in Kansas City. The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts has changed Kansas City’s skyline, as well as the experiences of artists and audiences throughout the region. Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, the building’s most distinctive features are the Muriel Kauffman Theatre and the Helzberg Hall. Theatre Solutions provided custom Teatro chairs for both halls, each with its own unique set of design features, finishes, and layouts. TSI also worked closely with the theatre acoustic consultants providing a series of acoustic tests on the Teatro chairs to insure compliance with the acoustics program.
