Trolium (Marvel Series) | Auditorium / Creative Spaces / Corporate / Lecture Hall
Trolium offers functional and subtle elegance with simple, clean lines. Its box-type common frame conceals the writing pad when not in use, while a slim chair profile permits architects to increase seating capacity without sacrificing comfort or proper egress space. Available fully-upholstered or with optional plastic covers, and offered in Floor Mount, Wall Mount, Air Diffuser Mount, and Adjustable Air Diffuser Mount configurations, Trolium's high-contrast orange-and-black design makes it an eye-catching seating solution for creative spaces, corporate auditoriums, and lecture halls where note-taking functionality matters.
Key Features & Ergonomics: Vibrant orange upholstery with bold black side panels and light-wood armrest caps; contoured backrest; concealable foldable writing pad within a box-type frame (not visible in this product angle); torsion spring-based auto tip-up mechanism with synchronized push-back system; black steel pedestal base.
Advantages:
- Concealed Writing Pad: A foldable writing pad tucks into a concealed box-panel arrangement when not in use — combining lecture-hall functionality with a clean, uncluttered appearance between uses.
- Striking Design: High-contrast orange-and-black color blocking, finished with light-wood armrest caps, makes a bold architectural statement for modern venues.
- Synchronized Comfort Mechanism: A tested and proven torsion spring-based auto tip-up system, paired with a synchronized seat-forward-slide and back-recline function, delivers smooth, natural movement.
- Office-Chair-Grade Seat Construction: Flexible polyurethane foam glued directly to the seat structure (rather than serpentine springs) ensures silent, sag-free comfort over the long term.
- Protected Mechanisms: Fully enclosed side panels safeguard moving parts from damage in high-traffic venues.
- Flexible Frame Construction: Welded heavy-gauge steel assembly allows cost-efficient design modifications for unique building conditions — unlike high-volume cast alternatives.
- Easy Maintenance: Removable, zippered seat and back covers allow for fast on-site cleaning or replacement.
- Space Management: Standard fold-up seat mechanism maintains safe, clear aisles.

Installation Overview: Installed per approved floor plan with the chair radius line positioned 1-1/2" behind the front foot plate hole (±1/8" width tolerance). Leg frames are bolted to the floor (with carpet-punch holes where applicable), followed by back panel attachment via slot-aligned brackets, seat attachment via nylon-washer/bushing hinge assembly, and armrest attachment via sheet metal screws. Full Exploded Assembly and Floor Mounting Detail drawings available on request.
Maintenance: Quarterly inspection recommended in the first year post-installation, extending to a maximum 6-month interval thereafter. No lubrication required — nylon-bushing seat pivots ensure silent, consistent performance. Project-specific O&M Manual, spare parts list, and service call support available through TSI directly.
